A journey of remembrance, myth, and connection
Sacred Ireland Pilgrimage Retreat for women
July 22–26, 2027 County Meath, Ireland’s Ancient East
Do you feel Ireland calling you?
August 5-9th 2027, Glastonbury, UK
Maybe Ireland calls through your family line. Maybe it’s a longing you’ve carried for years. Maybe you feel drawn to the green hills, the old stones, and the stories that seem to live beneath the land's surface.
Some women will come with Irish roots and family stories they want to understand more deeply. Others will come because Ireland has stirred something in them for as long as they can remember.
You may not know exactly why you feel called. You just know some part of you wants to go.
Sacred Ireland is a women-only pilgrimage for those who feel drawn to this land, whether through family, spirit, or a longing they can’t quite put into words.
A journey through Ireland’s ancient heart
We’ll stay in Longwood, County Meath, and travel through the landscapes of Ireland’s Ancient East and heartlands. Our visits will take us to the Boyne Valley passage tombs of Newgrange and Knowth, the Hill of Tara, the sacred landscape of Uisneach, and the Loughcrew Cairns.
These places hold layers of history, mythology, and folklore. We’ll hear the stories connected to each landscape, walk among the ancient monuments, and take time to notice what it feels like to be there. At Newgrange, we’ll learn about the winter solstice sunrise that enters the chamber; at Tara, we’ll look across the landscape associated with Ireland’s ancient kings and sovereignty; at Loughcrew, we’ll take in the wide views and the Cailleach’s hills.
We’ll meet the myths as stories and traditions, with room for different versions and interpretations and for whatever each place brings alive in us.
The Sacred Sites We Will Visit
Each sacred site we’ll visit holds its own energy, its own initiation and together, they weave a story of wholeness.
Newgrange and Knowth: the world of Boann and Aengus Óg
In Irish mythology, the Boyne Valley is connected with Brú na Bóinne, the Otherworld dwelling of Aengus Óg, son of the Dagda. In one tale, Aengus secures Brú na Bóinne as his own, gaining a home in a place where time seems to move differently.
The nearby River Boyne is associated with Boann, whose story tells of a sacred well and waters that surged across the land to become a river. Her myth connects the landscape with inspiration, knowledge, and the power of water.
We’ll visit the great passage tombs of Newgrange and Knowth, built thousands of years ago. At Newgrange, the winter solstice sunrise enters the chamber at the darkest point of the year. Standing among these ancient monuments, we’ll have time to take in both the skill of the people who built them and the mysteries later generations have woven around them.
The Hill of Tara: sovereignty and the voice of the land
Tara is one of Ireland’s most mythic landscapes, connected with ancient kingship, gathering, and the sovereignty of the land. At its heart is the Lia Fáil, the Stone of Destiny. In legend, it cried out beneath the rightful king.
Sovereignty in these old stories is more than power over others. The land itself is sometimes imagined as a woman or goddess, and a ruler must be worthy of the land and its people. We’ll explore Tara’s history and mythology, and reflect on what it means to stand in our own authority and live in right relationship with the lives we are creating.
Uisneach: the mythic heart of Ireland
Uisneach is often described as the symbolic heart of Ireland. Its Stone of Divisions is associated with the meeting of Ireland’s ancient provinces, and the landscape is linked with Ériu, one of the goddesses whose name is connected to Ireland itself.
Uisneach is also associated with Beltane, the beginning of summer, and the lighting of fires. In seasonal tradition, fire marked a threshold between one part of the year and the next, carrying protection and renewal across the land.
We’ll have a private guided experience here, with time to hear the stories and take in the landscape. There’s something powerful about standing in a place understood as a centre, with the land stretching outward in every direction.
The Loughcrew Cairns: the Cailleach’s hills
The hills of Loughcrew are known in Irish as Sliabh na Caillí, the Mountain of the Cailleach. In local legend, the cairns were stones dropped by the Cailleach, a powerful old woman of the landscape, as she crossed the hills.
The Cailleach appears in stories across Ireland and Scotland as a force of age, winter, creation, and the wildness of the land. At Loughcrew, her presence feels close among the cairns set across the hilltops.
We’ll explore the landscape and its stories, taking time to look out across the hills and feel the age of the place around us. At Cairn T, the rising sun at the spring and autumn equinox can enter the chamber and illuminate its carved stones.
The Hill of Ward: a possible Samhain landscape
Hill of Ward, traditionally associated with Tlachtga and with Samhain gatherings and fires. Samhain marks the turning from summer toward winter, a threshold in the year long surrounded by stories of ancestors, spirits, and the unseen.
This is a pilgrimage, but it’s also a chance to slow down and experience Ireland together. We’ll explore the sacred sites, hear the stories held in the landscape, and gather for a surprise workshop and ceremony. I’ll keep the details of those experiences as a surprise until we’re together.
We’ll also share a candlelit sound bath, time for conversation and connection, and unhurried moments to rest, journal, or wander the grounds at the country House. You can join the shared experiences and still honor your own pace.
A small circle of women
What we’ll experience together
This is a women-only retreat, limited to 13 guests. I want the group to feel intimate enough that we can get to know one another, share honestly, laugh, and make meaningful connections as we travel through these landscapes together.
You’re welcome to come on your own, and you don’t need to know anyone before you arrive. We’ll create a warm space where you can take part in the group moments and also have time to yourself when you need it.
Where we’ll stay
We’ll stay at a secluded and private country home nestled on 53 acres of original Georgian parkland in County Meath, less than an hour from Dublin.
The house will be our peaceful base between visits to the sacred sites: a place to return to after exploring, share meals, rest, and let the experience settle. There will be room to gather together and space to find quiet when you want it.
Breakfast and dinner will be cooked by a local chef. The meals will be gluten-free, and other dietary preferences can be accommodated. Please share your needs when you book so we can plan with the chef.
Private transportation will be arranged for our scheduled site visits, and entrance fees to the sacred sites on the itinerary are included.

The mysteries and energies of Avalon
Avalon is often experienced as a place where the sacred feminine and sacred masculine meet in balance. We’ll explore this through the symbolism of Chalice Well and the White Spring, and through the complementary energies of body and spirit, intuition and clarity.
We’ll also work with the mysteries and energies of the Dragon, the Fae, Mary Magdalene, and the Holy Grail. Through ceremony, story, and time on the land, each woman will have space to discover her own relationship with these energies and what they bring alive within her.
Over 5 days, you’ll be guided through the heart of Avalon, walking the same paths once tended by the ancient Priestesses of the Goddess.
You’ll connect to the sacred waters, the stones, the trees and the land that have called people here for centuries.
And in doing so, you’ll reconnect to the parts of yourself that you’ve longed to remember, the intuitive, powerful, wild woman you’ve always been.
Space is limited to just 8 women.
They say she calls only those who are ready.
Ready to remember who they are. Ready to become who they came here to be - in this lifetime.
Hidden beneath the mists of Glastonbury lies a sacred energy that has pulsed for thousands of years the heartbeat of the Divine Feminine.
This land, long known as the Isle of Avalon, is a temple without walls. A heart chakra of the earth.
A place where the veil between the seen and unseen grows thin, and the whispers of the Goddess can still be felt in the wind.
And now, she is calling you.

Meet your guide
Deimanté Ona
Deimantė Ona is the founder of Priestess in Jeans™, a clinical hypnotherapist, ceremonialist, and retreat guide. Her work is shaped by her lived path as a priestess, witch, and mother, as well as more than a decade of study and years of experience guiding hundreds of women.
She brings deep subconscious work together with feminine embodiment, energy work and ceremony to help women transform the patterns that have kept them playing small, reclaim their voices and feel fully expressed and fully alive.
Born in Lithuania, Deimantė’s own path has taken her through Ireland and England before bringing her to America. These lived connections inform the pilgrimages she leads, where she brings women into relationship with sacred landscapes through ceremony, reflection, and space for each person’s own connection with the land.
